Decent layout in the Twin Room, comfortable enough beds.
Toilet seat not secured, one light fixture out, hot tap loose, raised screw near bathroom entrance could cause injury, split flooring in bathroom curling up, and unexpected water left in the kettle. Frequent fire alarm disturbances twice around midnight caused loss of sleep, with a vague promise of a refund that never materialized. Room cleanliness was below par—no bins emptied or beds made, and the shower cubicle too small for comfort. Heavy doors slamming from the bar area created noise disturbances into the early hours.

Unfortunately, the toilet seat in my room was not secured properly, which was a bit uncomfortable during my stay.

Comfortable enough beds for a relaxing night.
My stay was marred by a series of disturbances caused by fire alarms going off at midnight. We were forced to evacuate twice, waiting outside in the cold for about 40 minutes. The unresponsiveness of the manager regarding a promised refund was extremely frustrating and left a sour impression of my experience.

I had an awesome stay before starting the Coast to Coast walk with my daughter, enjoying the great food and comfy beds that were perfect for our journey. The garden area was lovely, with spots to unwind and a nice little seating area to relax in. The bathroom could use a bit of sprucing up, but it didn't take away from our overall experience. 😊

The Double Room with Private Bathroom was decent. The shower was large and nice, which I appreciated. The beds were comfy enough for a good night's sleep after exploring St Bees. But the breakfast situation was a bit of a mess, had booked it for 7:45 but the restaurant was locked and I was left waiting. Staff were friendly despite the chaos.
